Serve. Protect. Educate.
Protecting Our Community
Committed to Safety, Service, and You!
At the Summerfield Fire District, we’re more than a fire department — we’re neighbors, friends, and part of the family. Our team is committed to protecting lives and property, but we also believe in building a safer community through fire safety, public education, and fire prevention. Whether we’re responding to emergencies, teaching children about fire safety, or lending a hand at community events, our mission is rooted in service, compassion, and connection. As a family-oriented, community-based department, we’re proud to stand beside the people we serve every single day.

Fire Stations
At the Summerfield Fire District, community is at the heart of everything we do. Each year, we take part in numerous local events, visit schools throughout the area, and welcome neighbors into our station to learn, connect, and see firsthand what we do. Through interactive programs, we educate children and adults on fire and life safety, empowering them to reduce the risk of accidents, injuries, and fires. One of our favorite traditions is hosting our annual Fire Camp for rising 3rd through 5th graders—a hands-on experience that inspires curiosity, builds safety skills, and fosters a new generation of safety-minded citizens.
We have curated a list of resources that may be useful to the community including a shortcut to apply for an online burn permit, our reflective address sign order form, information about volunteering, and more.
We have compiled resources for firefighters to help share training information. Our members can find the Sunday Duty Schedule, Moodle access, and other resources here.
